The Adventures of Caveman!

November 14, 1869.

Sorry for not being able to blog for a while. I've been doing a lot of stuff, and yes, a lot of trouble as well with Aunt Polly.

Okay, a couple of days ago, I was in a cave with Becky Thatcher. We planned on just having an innocent, adventurous day, we went in the cave just to simply explore. It was fun for a while until we realized we were couldn't find our way out or in other words, we got stuck inside. Of course, as the guy, I had to to be the brave one and figure things out. After a day, we were convinced that we weren't going to make it - we had no more food, no more candle and there were bats everywhere! With my final strand of hope, I decided to search for an exit, and with determination, I did. Becky and I got out; it was great seeing sunlight after two days but I have so say, I sort of liked the adventure and the thrill. We got back to the village and people were wondering when Injun Joe was. I realized that he might be in the cave so I hurried back but it was too late... I found him, yes. Alive, no.

Pirates for life!

October 6, 1869.

I had the best time ever - the time of my life! I, Huck and a few other people went to this island. It was amazing. For all of you out there, you should go to Jackson Island, that's where we were at for a few days. My friends and I all decided to be pirates, it was pretty fun. We promised to be pirates forever but yeah, it didn't go as planned, and some got homesick.

When I got home, Aunt Polly was furious. She thought I died and they had a funeral and everything set up. She told me that she was very worried about me, and she thought that she had lost me forever, it was so dramatic but I was pretty shocked about it. She was so mad at me, she lectured me about stuff for like an hour. Yes, I felt bad since I never meant it to be this big of a deal but I still have to admit, being on Jackson Island with Huck and Joe Harper made me realize how much I would love Huck's freedom, he doesn't have to worry about other people like parents or whatever, he can just do what he pleases during whatever time.

Anyways, I have to go see Aunt Polly now, we're going to have a talk again.

The Graveyard Encounter.

September 2, 1869.

Yesterday night, my friend and I, Huckleberry Finn, saw something that may have scared us for life. We went to the graveyard just wanting to wash off the warts that we had but instead we saw something unexpected, something that not most kids my age should have seen. Huck and I saw Injun Joe with Muff Potter. We were hiding behind some trees and bushes and then we saw Injun Joe kill Dr. Robinson. I don't really know why Injun Joe did that but from what I've heard from gossip and rumors Injun Joe was like begging for food but then Dr. Robinson drove him away from the kitchen, Injun Joe then to get even with him however Dr. Robinson's father jailed him for vagrant. The thing I don't understand the most is that Muff Potter was the one who was blamed for everything and now, he's in jail. I feel so bad for him! I couldn't say anything to anyone since me and Huck promised not to say anything to a single soul. Huck and I visited him this morning, we're possibly only nice people to him since no one really knows what really happened.

I'm going to go to Sunday school now. I might write more later, if i find the time.

The famous whitewash scene!

August 15, 1869.

Hey all you bloggers out there. I'm sort of new at this blog thing, the only reason why I'm doing this is for my Aunt, and her name is Polly.

Okay so, this morning I was playing hooky with a few other people, the thing was I was suppose to go to school but then I wasn't bothered so I ditched and Aunt Polly found out. She asked me why I would do such a thing and I explained my point of view about school and how it's lame but no, instead she made me whitewash the fence. It was so boring and to top that of people from my school saw me and they were making fun of me which was not cool at all. As I was painting, I realized that I could totally take advantage of it so I started telling them how much fun it was and how amazing it was. After that, they all wanted to give it a go so yeah; they ended up doing the whole thing for me. It was pretty funny actually and I was so proud of myself after that.
